Jim Corbett National Park is one of the most famous wildlife reserves in India. Situated in the Nainital district, it was established in 1936 as India's first national park. It covers an area of approximately 520 square kilometers and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the Bengal tiger, Asian elephants, leopards, and many species of birds.

Visitors to the park can go on wildlife safaris, either by jeep or on elephant back, to see the animals in their natural habitats. The best time to visit the park is from November to June, when the weather is dry and visibility is good.

Aside from wildlife viewing, there are also many opportunities for trekking, birdwatching, and fishing. The park also has several resthouses and resorts for visitors to stay in, as well as a museum showcasing the history and biodiversity of the park.
