Why we are in depression ?

wonder why we, as a society, seem to be in a constant state of depression? It's a question that has puzzled me for a while now, and I've come up with a few theories of my own.

First of all, we are constantly bombarded with negative news. Everywhere we look, it seems like there is another tragedy or disaster happening. The media loves to focus on the negative, because let's face it, bad news sells. But constantly being exposed to this negativity can really weigh on our mental health.

Another reason could be the pressure we put on ourselves to be perfect. We are constantly comparing ourselves to others and trying to live up to society's expectations of what we should be doing with our lives. It's no wonder we end up feeling overwhelmed and depressed.

But let's not forget about the impact of social media. It's become a breeding ground for comparison and FOMO (fear of missing out). We see everyone's highlight reels and think our own lives aren't measuring up. It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking everyone else's life is perfect, while ours is falling apart.

So, what can we do about it? First and foremost, try to limit your exposure to negative news and focus on the positive. Surround yourself with supportive people who lift you up, rather than bringing you down. And remember, social media is not real life. Don't compare yourself to others and try to focus on your own journey.

We may never be able to completely eliminate depression from our lives, but by taking small steps to improve our mental health, we can at least try to lessen its impact
