Baidyanath Dham, also known as Baba Baidyanath Temple, is a Hindu temple located in Deoghar. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples in India. The temple is considered one of the most sacred Shiva temples in the country and is visited by thousands of devotees every year.

The temple has a rich history and is said to be over 2000 years old. According to legend, the temple was built by the King of the Moon, Chandra, as a form of penance for having an illicit relationship with his father's wife. The temple is also said to have been visited by the Hindu god Rama during his exile.

The temple complex is a large one and consists of several smaller temples, including temples dedicated to Parvati, Ganesha, Kartikeya, and Nandi. The main temple is a large, imposing structure with a shikhara (spire) that towers above the surrounding buildings. The temple is built in the Nagara style of architecture and is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures.

Inside the main temple, there is a large lingam, which is the symbol of Lord Shiva. The lingam is said to be one of the most powerful Jyotirlingas in India and is believed to have the power to grant wishes to those who worship it with devotion.

This is also an important pilgrimage site for many Hindus. The temple is especially popular during the month of Shravana, when thousands of devotees flock to the temple to offer prayers and take a dip in the nearby Sone River. The temple is also famous for the Baidyanath Dham Yatra, which is a religious pilgrimage from Deoghar to Baba Baidyanath Temple.
